The newsflash posted at the site reads, “Actor Adam Sandler is reported to have died shortly following a snowboard accident earlier today -December 28, 2010.”

“Adam Sandler is very much alive and there is no truth to the rumors that were circulating. We are already requesting authorities to help us shutdown the website Associated Global News so that no further hoaxes of celebrities will be made,” said one of Adam Sandler’s handlers when we talked to them earlier.

The main origin of these news is a website called fakewish.com where users are directed to a page where you can type in celebrities first and last name, you then have a choice of what story you wanted to publish. These fake news are then spread out using the microblogging site twitter.
